We went to Reno this past weekend and had a great time visiting our friends Greg and Stacy. On Saturday, Stacy took us up to Lake Tahoe and we drove around the whole lake. It was beautiful as you can see in the pictures. We were trying to find a trail to go down to the water, but instead found a short trail off the side of the road with a nice waterfall and view of Emerald Bay which is where we took some of the pictures. That night we went out to a Basque Restaurant where we had an enormous amount of food. It is crazy. First there is bread, then soup, then salad, then beef stew...then you order your main entree...which for me was steak. Then came the main entree with pinto beans and a huge plate of fries, then there was ice cream to top it off. Everything was really good. Chris was so stuffed though, he just had to go for a walk. Then on Sunday, we went up to Virginia City, an old turn of the century mining town and went on a tour of one of the mines and walked the shops. It was a busy and fun weekend. Stacy is the sweetest host and I felt bad I had moments of just utter fatigue by the time Sunday afternoon came around.
