Chris and Don installed the cabinets last night. They really look awesome even without the trim and paint. It is really going to look nice when complete. More pictures to come!

Built-in project update
Jordyn Crawling
Jordyn started to crawl for the first time last night while at our house celebrating Dad's birthday. She starts off with a few steps and then goes back to an army crawl. Hard to believe that she is 10 months already and before we know it she will be walking.

Chris's 27th Birthday
We went to El Gaucho for dinner to celebrate Chris's 27th birthday on Friday night with Don, Barb and Chelsey. The food and service were outstanding and we will definitely go back. We were so stuffed from the delicious food that we didn't have cake until the next morning. I just had to show a picture of the inside of it...it was amazing how well it cut. I am getting better with each cake I make.

Chris's Birthday Cake
Tomorrow is Chris's 27th birthday, so it was a good excuse for me to make a cake. It was my first time trying to do a chocolate bow which came out alright, but I think I will do better next time. It looks best from far away. Inside is Chris's favorite poppyseed cake and then I made three different layers of flavored italian meringue buttercreams: vanilla, lemon curd and raspberry. Yum! Can't wait to try this cake tomorrow. I hope Chris likes it.

Built-in Project update
The built-in cabinets are really coming along. Look at the cool pull-out drawers. There are more drawers completed now, but just haven't gotten over to Don and Barb's to take a picture of it yet. Really is looking good and can't wait for it to be completed. The pull-outs are to put the electronic equipment on so the wiring will be easier.
